To conclude its series of online literary events, the English Educators’ Guild (EEG) under the College of Education (CED) held a culminating activity on February 5, 2021.

With the theme “Moving forward with English literacy in the New Normal,” the EEG hosted four literary contests—video storytelling contest, CED promotional video contest, impromptu speaking contest, and poetry writing contest—from January 18 to February 4, 2021. The winners were Liza Tabing, Yra Avillanosa, Lance Iris Orong, and Joseph Marilo Casing, respectively.

EEG President Tricia Tuverion thanked all the attendees and participants. Prof. Febe Malinis, the EEG adviser, also expressed her gratitude to the College of Education Dean, Dr. Corazon Liwayway, faculty members, and students for their “consistent support to the EEG’s rundown of activities.”
