NErBS holds virtual zumba, webinar on health management

The New Era Biology Society (NErBS) held a virtual zumba and a webinar titled, “Managing Health and Welfare during COVID-19 Pandemic,” on February 16, 2021. Dr. Minnie Rose Baquiran-Estorque, New Era University’s physician, discussed the ways on how to manage one’s health and be protected from diseases, especially from COVID-19. Dr. Estorque emphasized the importance of exercise, eating healthy food, and getting adequate sleep to boost a person’s immune system.

After the webinar, Carmie Monique Reyes, the NErBS President, led the launching of the photo contest with the theme of “Midst of Pandemic: How to Combat COVID-19.” The event ended with the closing remarks from Mr. Isaias DB. Reyes II, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, reiterating to students the urgency of taking care of their health in these trying times.
